China is famous for its focusing on moral education. However, the phenomena which go against withmoral norms still exist in our social life or on campus with some students totally ignore morality. Theindividuals’ moral sensitivity and their perceptions to the atmosphere of morality in the school could beimportant under the environment of the school.Foreign studies mainly focused on the nature, structure, affective factors, the development of moralsensitivity and also explored it in the vocational fields. The domestic studies mainly describe moral sensitivityfrom the perspectives of phenomena and philosophy. The researches on the moral atmosphere in schools arefrom the perspectives of morality and education. Fewer studies are from psychology. The moral atmospherein schools is important for students’ development of morality; the perception of moral atmosphere is differentamong students even in the same school which could reflect their different sensitivity to moral atmosphere;furthermore, the perception of moral atmosphere is the reflection of students’ moral sensitivity. Exploring therelationship between moral sensitivity and the perception of moral atmosphere could improve the individuals’moral sensitivity; provide advice for moral education with theoretical and practical significance.Although the researchers have put forward the relevant theory of the relation between moral sensitivityand the perception of schools’ moral atmosphere, the supports from empirical researches are fewer. Therefore,this study makes assumption that the individuals’ moral sensitivity plays an important role on their perceptionof the schools’ moral atmosphere. Main conclusions are as follows:(1)There’s significant difference betweenthe adolescents’ moral sensitivity and their perception of the schools’ moral atmosphere on grades with somefactors are different between girls and boys; the adolescents’ moral sensitivity correlates with their perceptionof the schools’ moral atmosphere.(2)There’s an attention bias on moral words for high moral sensitivityindividuals while low ones pay more attention to non-moral words; There’s an interpretation bias on ethicaland moral context for high moral sensitivity individuals while no bias exists for low ones; the difference issignificant between the high and low ones.
