A Case Study On The Cultural Service Project Implemented By Yucheng District

Culture is not only the base of one country’s power and prosperity, but also the foundation of one nation’s rise. Development of culture relates to vicissitude. Without the leading and promotion of advanced culture, the improvement of society is just an empty talk too. As a significant part of the citizen’s rights and welfare, non-profit cultural undertakings played important role in promoting the cultural, harmonious and steady development of China and building up moderately prosperous society. It has already become the common wish of all Chinese people for the government to promote the development of non-profit cultural undertakings and satisfy the needs of high quality spiritual culture with the leading of the socialistic culture with Chinese characteristics. In the 18 th National Congress, an idea that sturdily promote the cultural rejuvenation and further draw the cultural construction to a higher level has been proposed. How to motivate the non-profit cultural undertakings, guarantee the cultural rights of the public and accelerate the civilization progress are the most important tasks we are facing at right now.As a political, economic center of Ya’an City, charming city of China, historic city of Sichuan Province, Yucheng District is abundant with cultural resources. Unique geographical conditions and excellent ecological environment endow the city with solid cultural deposits. Both rich cultural relics and resources are the important support for the city’s non-profit cultural undertakings, that’s why Yucheng District enjoys great bases and advantages in accelerating the cultural prosperity. After the idea of cultural development and cultural prosperity was proposed in the sixth plenary session of the 17 th National Congress, the government of Yucheng District fully carried out the spirit and aimed to become a famous district for its ecological culture. It has carried out the project to become a powerful district through developing culture. This project is aimed to benefit, amuse, educate and enrich the public of Yucheng District. It will give great impetus to the innovation of non-profit cultural undertakings. The development of culture has always been put in the first place in this city, and the city’s cultural development achieved gratifying achievements which provided ideological guarantee, intellectual support and cultural foundation of the cultural development of the whole district with the mutual promotion of cultural undertakings and industries. In this period the government played the leading role in scientific planning. Taking the non-profit cultural innovation of Yucheng District as a study case, this article specializes in making proposals to the current cultural development by taking reference to the foreign related experience, utilizing information retrieval and other research methods and providing cultural development references to the less developed regions.
