There are more differences than similarities between Chinese and English. From the perspective of sentence structure, their differences can be seen as parataxis and hypotaxis, front modifiers and back modifiers, back emphasis and front emphasis as well as simple sentences and complex sentences. Due to these discrepancies, it is not appropriate to confine translation to the form of the source text and translate word by word. Instead, some necessary reorganization should be made on the sentence structures.It is of great value to study the translation of land appraisal statement which has the features of standardization in text and complexity in sentence structure. The accuracy and quality of the translation will have a direct impact on land appraisal process. In order to facilitate the smooth proceeding of translation, in this text, the author will start from the point that the sentence in the land appraisal statement tends to be very long and complicated and make sentence restructuring from the aspects of word order changing, splitting and conversion. The translation after sentence restructuring is better in line with English expression habits and is also more coherent and logical. All these are more conducive to information dissemination.
