However, people tend to pay excessiveattention on various packages so that the quality of product itself is under question, and theform of package has been multiple. Therefore, over package has become a serious problemof current industry of package. Over package not only requires higher costs of the product,but also produces environmental problems and breaks down balance of theenvironment.The pollution of environment is aggravated. Some essays which study overpackage provide some solutions and suggestions, however, the ways of solving overpackage are not thorough.This essay will research the market, look up some literature, anduse the way of gathering and comparison to study the solution of over package.This essayhas five chapters. The first chapter is a introduction which is to explain the reasons ofchoosing this topic and the status of studying all over the world. The second chapter is toclaim the detriment of over package through expounding the form and effect of overpackage. The third chapter puts forward the concept of “green package” and explains it bychoosing the material of package and the concept of “green”. The forth chapter is to putforward the solution of over package by using law and mental concept under thebackground of certain time. The fifth chapter is to make Chinese package better bystudying some good foreign design and combine them. Therefore, it raises awareness ofpackage industry on the issues of over package. This paper aims to reveal disadvantages ofover package based on the concept of “green package” and claims that modern designshould be integrated with Chinese traditional culture. Design of package should be people-oriented and in accordance with the coordination between human and nature. Thepromotion of production should be embedded with conception of environmental protection.Above all my study, in order to solve over package, knowing the disadvantage of it andchanging mental concept is the first step, and then insisting on correct concept of designwhich is adapt to the requirement of development of certain society, and lastly solving overpackage should be protected by law. The purpose of this essay is appealing to carry out the“green package”and promoting the development of society through the three solutions helpeach other. It is hoped that this paper can provide some relevant guidance when overpackage is popular. It also invokes public understanding on consequences of over packageand attention on environmental protection in order to exercise the concept of sustainability.
