In order to ensure the everlasting Imperial,Zhu Yuanzhang, thefounder and the first emperor of Ming, appoints23sons and1grandson all over the country. This system is beneficial for thedescendants as well as brings many local problems. By Hongzhiperiod, the number of the Prince families in Shanxi have far exceededother Provinces’, which leads to a heavy burden for Datong、Taiyuanand Luzhou. Ming Yingzong adopted a method named “moving away”to solve this problem. During the Tianshun period, a lot ofcommandery princes have to move away. This paper takescommandery prince of Xuanning and Xichuan who moved away fromDatong to Zezhou as the research objects, and analyzes theinfluences after commandery prince moved away. This studyelaborate commandery prince of Xuanning and Xichuan from Datongto Zezhou in Tianshun5years; summarize commandery prince ofXuanning and Xichuan’ inheritance situation; analysis commandery prince of Xuanning and Xichuan’ state of development in Zezhou andrelationship; analysis commandery prince of Xuanning and Xichuan’activities in Zezhou through imperial families’ good acts、marriage、social contacts and religious activities; and elaborate the effects ofcommandery prince of Xuanning and Xichuan “moving away” onZezhou.
