The Examination Of Three Classics Stage In Zezhou County,Shanxi Province

There are more than 100 three Teachings Temple stages in Zezhou county of Shanxi Province.Most of them were built from qing dynasty to Republic of China.They are distributed in 16 villages and towns.Through field investigation and comparative analysis,it is found that the three Teachings Temple stages in Zezhou County often occupies the most spacious and flat public space in the village,sitting in the three Teachings Temple in the south and north,opposite to the main hall;the type of stages are mainly mountain gate stage,and the roof is mostly hard mountain top.It has played an important role in rural society since the creation of the three Teachings Temple stage in Zezhou County for hundreds of years.With the help of Shangdang Bangzi,Shangdang Laozi and other opera performances,Zezhou County three Teachings Temple stage can not only entertain the gods,pray for good weather and peace on one side,but also make the villagers under the bondage of feudal etiquette obtain temporary happiness and spiritual comfort,at the same time the same time,can educate officials to enforce the law impartially,be faithful to their duties,educate the people to worship morality and respect the good abide by the local rules.From the period of the Republic of China to the 1980 s,the stage of the three Teachings Temple stage in Zezhou County,together with other buildings of the three Teachings Temple,was requisitioned and converted into the village school,which promoted the popularization of compulsory education in Shanxi Province and the development of rural education.
