Zayn-al-akhbar was wrriten in the mid-11th century. Author Gardizi of the book is a young man who lived in the Ghaznavid dynasty, likely to be one of Biruni’s disciples. The book can be called as the collection of a variety of data concerning to history, geography and ethnology. Its content includes many fields, such as the rule of the east Iranian region, namely the local Turkic ruling class and the military level, the annexation of surrounding areas of India. It can be seen that Gardizi’s book covers a brief history of Iran’s rulers in pre-Islamic era and Islamic era, it is extremely important for study Khorasan and river areas history during9-11th centuries. The book describes the Eurasian steppe Turks and semi Turks, and two adjacent regions,Dagestan (Daghestan) and China, of course, is also described. This paper mainly contrast Zayn-al-akhhar and other historical books of records on Toquz Oghuz, namely the Coco Uighurs centred in Turpan to discussed in detail Toquz Oghuz’s society, try to make clear descriptions about such as Toquz Oghuz’s Formation society, religion, vernacular dwellings, wine, but also make us a more comprehensive understanding in Toquz Oghuz’s society.
