Development of Chinese Textbooks for teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has always been the focus of community. However, any set of textbooks can not fully meet the needs of particular groups of all learners. Therefore, teachers need to re-develop textbooks. Studies found that learning style has an important impact on second language learning. There is a big gap between the needs of different learning styles and the Chinese Textbooks. So how to shorten this gap is a question worth considering. However, in practice it is difficult for writers to write different teaching materials based on the different learning styles. Therefore, teachers need to be individualized, as far as possible to meet the common needs of most students.In view of this, the paper surveys the needs of different learning styles, and combined with the author’s teaching practice, take the Chinese textbook for Hungarians for instance to give practical recommendations for the re-development of the teaching material, to make it possible to meet the needs of different learning styles. Hope for providing reference for the teachers to to using this materials based on students, and convenience Hungarian Chinese learners with different learning styles better use of this book. The full paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction. To introduces reasons and significances of this topic, and the study topics. To elaborate the research methods and research approach.The second part is Literature review. Definite what is learning styles and re-development of the teaching material. Introduce the research results for this question. On this basis, discuss the re-development of the teaching material based on the learning needs.The third chapter is introduction of the Chinese textbook for Hungarians. Introduce the write idea of this book in brief. Expand the analysis of the first, two parts of this book in pronunciation, vocabulary and language points, texts, exercises and other issues. To lay a solid foundation for the following re-development.The forth chapter is the teaching needs survey of different learning styles. The author measure the students’learning styles who from the ELTE Confucius Institute and Confucius Classroom. According to the characteristics of the learning styles, make the questionnaire of the needs to teaching materials. From the pronunciation, vocabulary, text, language points, exercises five dimensions to investigate the needs of textbooks of Chinese primary learners. And analyzes the data with SPSS19.0. To re-develop the teaching material from the needs of the different learning styles, can find more in-depth the problems in textbook, and then puts forward optimization. The forth chapter is the re-development of the teaching material based on the different learning styles. Based on the previous two chapters survey data and research results, and combined with the author’s teaching experience in Hungary, gives some recommendations for the re-development of teaching material based on the needs for different learning styles. In Pronunciation, I discuss the way to explain the knowledge of Chinese speech, learning style, and with the way of spelling and texts. In Vocabulary, re-develop the quantity of the new words and the interpretation way. In grammar, re-develop the quantity of the grammar, the interpretation way, and the practical. In text, re-develop the theme, genre, length. In practice, re-develop the type of questions.The sixth chapter is the conclusion. This article summarizes the key point, and recommends for future research and analysis.In addition, the end of the paper, I also attached a questionnaire of Learning Style Survey and the Analysis of the Requirements for Textbook.What’s more, I investigate the requirements of different learning styles to know students are interested in what kind of textbook, and need what kind of textbook. Combined my own teaching observation, advise for the re-development of the Chinese textbook for Hungarians.
