The philosophy,literature, science and technology, religion previous scholars at home and abroad whoresearch the thought of Liezi mostly focus on Taoism, literature, environmentalethics,Especially for "liezi" authenticity for a lot ofstudies and arguments, etc., but verylittle study of Lie zi’s science and technology thought systemically, lack of monographwhich has overall understanding, comprehensive analysis and fine paper. Therefore, inorder to study Lie zi’s thought by keeping pace with the times, achieving its modern valueand enlightening the present development of science and technology, this paper is writtenon the basis of the previous research and the research of the book of Lie zi, to explain thedetails of Lie zi’s science and technology thought systemically and comprehensively andanalyze it scientifically and inherit it critically.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part introduces Lie zi’s life and booksand on background of his science and technology thought by reviewing Lie zi’s thought onscience and technology on the basis of his living time.
