We made a comparative study on the basis of their common spiritual character-self-examinationconsciousness by a lot of reading of works by Lu Xun, Abai, Tang Jialek and other Kazakh poet’s worksand commentaries. To explore their understanding of the nation’s living condition in the occasion ofnational peril, to expose and criticize the ills that hinder the spirit of national awakening in national spiritworld, as well as their great fights of carrying out ethnic and ideological enlightenment with the ideologicalweapon of conscious awareness of self-examination, which would be of great value to lead the nationalemancipation of the mind. The first chapter: to face the reality and crisisAt the begining of19-20century, China suffered the invasion of colonialism and foreignenemies,Western powers carved up and erode the Mainland,Russia invaded and occupied the Kazakhsteppe which located in the frontier, all ethnic groups are facing a common crisis of national subjugationand genocide, but backward ancient China and her people are still lingering unexamined under the feudalruling class and its culture of governance-the feudal culture. Lu Xun and Kazakh people with lofty idealssuch as Abai and Tang jialek thought from their own learning, different experience of life and struggle, gradually formed their observation of life, insight into the common spiritual character-self-examinationconsciousness.The second chapter: deals forthrightly with the courage to parseFor hundreds of years with the closed-door policy, the self-perception of the central country, Chinaand its people cultivated the blind egotism national spirit. but under the guns of the colonial powers, theculture of feudal rule still poison the masses of the people. Facing the tumultuous nation, the suffering ofthe masses, Lu Xun and Kazakh Illuminatis such as Abai and Tang jialek, were not simply " headachemedicine head-gap feet", but with X-ray-like thinking, with scalpel strokes analysis to analyze the soulof the nation, the community ’s rights and wrongs, so that they lead a practical way to get rid of mental ills.Chapter III: same stick, different destinationAs the pioneer of the era, Lu Xun, Abai, and Tang jialek are deeply felt that there are lots of thorns onthe road of the thinking of Enlightenment. Facing the enormous ideological resistance, Lu Xunexperienced the road of hoping to despairing, from negative to positive mentality; Abai inevitably endedhis top-down social improvement activities in failure, disappointed and hopeless. Different view of theworld enables them to choose different paths, also ushered in a different destination. Ultimately Lu Xunfirmly forward, holding high the banner of " man" in his hand, but the Abai finally had to use the power ofreligion, but never get rid of the inner sense of loneliness. Tang jialek who got in and out of the prison, feltmore directly than his predecessors the urgency of struggling against the brutal and revolutionary, andunswervingly promote the advent of the revolution until victory.
