The Study On How To Face Present Ecological Crisis Between James O’connorand John Bellamy Foster

Though the society collapse crisis and the ecological crisis are two main forces human have to face in 21 st century, the ecological crisis is more complicated to human in term of basic survival and sustainable development; what it symbolizes mainly on the deterioration of human environmental conditions and the out of balance between human and nature. Finding the most effective, sufficient solution to the ecological crisis needs to understand the nature of crisis first; what is its root cause. Ecological Marxism is one of its main theories on how to confront ecological problems in 20 th century; it raises the earliest, the deepest and systematic concern. The theory of Ecological Marxism is trying to combine Marxism with ecology for ecological crisis, to trace its root cause, to find the way to solve the problem, to make further analysis. The objective of this study is on how to solve ecological crisis, and summarize what James O’Connor’s and John Bellamy Forster ’s ecological thought, both representative personage of Ecological Marxism, come from, their theoretical basis, the trend of ecological crisis, the solution of ecological crisis and compare their solutions to ecological crisis.
