Report On Chinese Translation Of University Of Florida Law Review

In the past few decades China’s status in international society has been on therise; its technology continues to advance and there have been more frequentexchanges in the fields of business, tourism, technology, law and education betweenChina and other countries. In this process, translation has become more and moreimportant and therefore received increasing attention.This translation report is based on the translation of University of Florida LawReview, and gives a specific introduction to the whole translation process. The sourcetext is an applied writing.This paper consists of task introduction, translation process, case analysis andconclusion, and mainly discusses the content of this translation task, the preparationwork of this translation, the techniques used in this translation and the gains for theauthor. At the end of this report, the author summarizes this translation process as wellas evaluates the weakness found in the process. This will help the author in becomingan excellent translator in the future.
