Study On Lao Xiaoyu’s Peotry Talks Of Spring And Autumn Annals

Peotry Talks of Spring and Autumn Annals, by Lao Xiaoyu of Qing Dynasty, firstly classifies the materials and crambos about The Book of Poetry in Tso Chuan, and makes punctuations and annotations. Analyzing The Book of Poetry in Tso Chuan by random notes,punctuations and annotations, this work involves the study on the history of poetics, Tso Chuan and random notes on classical poets and poetry. But, to a certain degree, it is ignored and mistaken because of its marginal research results. In fact, on one hand, this work gives us an overall and systemic view about the existence, spread and application of The Book of Poetry in Spring and Autumn Period. On the other hand, it also enriches our cognitions about the diversity of random notes on classical poets and poetry in Qing Dynasty.Firstly this paper presents the life of Lao Xiaoyu and introduces the styles and editions of Peotry Talks of Spring and Autumn Annals, as well as its study status and values. Then this paper analyzes and summarizes the ways and contents of punctuations and annotations on Peotry Talks of Spring and Autumn Annals,and further probes Lao Xiaoyu’s poetics outlook. In the end, this paper illustrates the historical values of Peotry Talks of Spring and Autumn Annals,and makes complements to the missing pieces.
