| Currently Multimedia Design education in Malaysia is still in developing stage. Each individual institution’s curriculum design is based on industrial demand. In Malaysia, it is still a trend that people believe in multitask for individual should be the concept of work force. Therefore, most of the students in Malaysia must ensure themselves to obtain diversity of knowledge in order to meet the demand of the society. As a result, a lot of institutions have provided multiplicity of courses into their curriculum, to facilitate the demand for the society.Multimedia Design Education has transformed art into a digital dimension. Through the help of digitization, art has been transformed into another level of dimension. Basically, it is by using computer to create2D picture,3D picture, vector art, animation, interactive, audio or video recording, typography, color, geometric shape, desktop publishing and visualization into a more standardize or organize presentation.Basically, a lot of institutions divide their programme into two parts. One is fundamental aesthetic development. Its’objective is to help students developing their aesthetic knowledge; especially on observation towards nature and artificial object, knowledge of color system, sensitivity and functionality on using color, typography characteristic and functionality, geometric shapes structure and transformation, and etc. All these knowledge could be learned through drawing, observation and listening. Another part is on technical, where it is by using software and transformed original idea or art creation into digital format, then print out, or transfer to screen; such as TV screen or project them to a white space or wall. This research recommend that the development of technology should have prospective rather than formality. The education of multimedia design should develop and blend both aesthetic and technology knowledge for students. If education is base on the demand of society, what are the problems that we faced and what are the causes of the problems in multimedia design programme today. Focus on each perspective of study, no matter is about the courses, teaching, lecturer, the factors of internal or external, there will be an effective and productive study and analysis to suggestion for solutions. Since this scenario is affecting a lot of different perspective; therefore, the analysis and study shall be covering quite a number of people in society, including every perspective of individual and stakeholders as well. The research paper has been divided into three chapters. In the introduction, it is describing the current situation of Malaysia education in multimedia design.
