Object:Intervening vocational college student with the tendency of internet addiction(IAD), to test its effectiveness.Mothod:Subject:30male vocational college students during the age of18to20. Procedure:(1)Using 《Chinese internet addiction scale》(CIAS) and《Adolescent pathological Internet use scale》(APIUS) to screening300vocational college student, then we get38subject who conforms to the diagnostic criteria.(2)With counselor referrak Parents communication personal interview, we get30regular subjects who are then dived into treatment group and control group respectively and averagely. Finally, we intervene the15regular subjects in treatment group6times during2months with self-compiled Intervention plan.Results:(1)Treatment group’s post-test scores of CIAS and APIUS are significantly lower than control group’s.Treatment group’s post-test scores of CIAS total score(t=-5.403,p=0.000)ã€compulsive internet use (t=-5.403, p=0.000)ã€Withdrawal behaviors and withdrawal reaction (t=-5.403,p=0.000) time management(t=-3.738,p=0.001)are significantly lower than control group’s. Treatment group’s post-test scores of APIUS’s average score (t=-5.011,p=0.000)〠salience(t=-2.736,p=0.011)ã€tolerance(t=-2.789,p=0.009)ã€compulsive internet use(t=-2.541,p=0.017)ã€negative consequences (t=-3.205,p=0.005) are significantly lower than control group’s.(2) Treatment group’s post-test scores of other mental condition are Significantly better than control group’s. Treatment group’s post-test scores of SCL-90’s total score(t=-3.162,p=0.005)ã€interpersonal relationship (t=-3.564,p=0.002ã€depression (t=-3.564,p=0.002), anxiety (t=2.437,p=0.021)ã€hostility (t=-2.437,p=0.021)〠horror(t=-2.911, p=0.009)ã€stubborn(t=-2.911, p=0.009)ã€Psychoticism (t=-2.911, p=0.009)ã€other (t=-2.911, p=0.009) are significantly lower than control group’s. Treatment group’s post-test scores of negative coping dimension(t=-2.911,p=0.009)of SCSQ and RSES’s total scores(t=-2.911,p=0.009)are significantly higher than control group’s.(3).Treatment group’s post-test scores of CIAS and APIUS are significantly lower than pre-test scores. Treatment group’s post-test scores of CIA’s total score(t=10.354, p=0.000)ã€compulsive internet use(t=10.354, p=0.000)ã€Withdrawal behaviors and withdrawal reaction(t=10.354,p=0.000)ã€Interpersonal and health(t=5.047,p=0.000)〠time management(t=5.047,p=0.000)are significantly lower than pre-test scores. Treatment group’s post-test scores of APIUS’s average score(t=7.083, p=0.000)〠compulsive internet use(t=7.083, p=0.000)ã€Social comfort(t=7.083,p=0.000)〠negative effect(t=7.083, p=0.000)are significantly higher than pre-test scores.(4)Treatment group’s post-test scores of other mental condition are Significantly better than pre-test scores.Treatment group’s post-test scores of SCL-90’ total score(t=-3.162, p=005)ã€compel(t=4.885, p=0.000) interpersonal relationship(t=-3.564,p=0.002)ã€depression(t=-3.564,p=0.002)ã€anxiety (t=-2.437,p=0.021)ã€hostility (t=-2.437,p=0.021)ã€stubborn (t=-2.911, p=0.009)ã€Psychoticism (t=-2.911,p=0.009) are significantly lower than pre-test scores.Treatment group’s post-test scores of the dimensions of objective support (t=-2.63,p=0.020) and the degrees of support (t=-4.516,p=0.000) of SSRS and RSES’s total scores (t=-4.516,p=0.000) are significantly higher than pre-test scores.Conclusion:The present group intervene can effectively weaken the vocational college students’ Internet addiction tendency and improve their mental health. |
