| This is a comparative analysis report on practical translation and interpreting which aimsto compare the similarities and dissimilarities as well as features between translation andinterpreting. The report consists of five chapters. The first chapter is about its background,including the purpose, significance and study methods. The second chapter gives a briefintroduction to interpreting and translation in regard of their definition, features and criteria.Chapter3concludes the basics of a qualified translator and interpreter. Chapter4focuses onthe comparative analysis between translation and interpreting with reference to word order,subordinate clauses,“it” pattern and the long and difficult sentences. And the last chapter is asummary of the enlightenment, lessons and problems to be solved. |
