In our traditional education, mathematics and literature received more attention, while music, especially piano education in the northern China,started late and lacked experience, which needs further explorations and deep researches. With the development of early learning, music has been found given more and more attention. Because of the specificity, artistic, depth in history, as well as the great performance scene, piano education has been considered as one of the most important role in helping children to develop and train their personalities.The introduction introduces the reason of the topic selection, and the origin and significance of topics. Also it briefly describes the content and methods used in this research, and illustrates the difficulties encountered during the research.In the first chapter, the thesis describes the origin of piano, the course of development in piano education, and current issues found in piano education. Through the studies of the piano and the piano education, the paper tries to deliver the evolutionary history of piano in order to deepen people’s understanding of the significance of the piano education.The second chapter focuses on the relationship between piano education and personality training. It explains the main content of the piano education as well as the human personalities. then analyzes the relationship between the both: the learner’s good characters is helpful to learning piano; piano education can improve learner’s characters after long time in piano learning.In the third chapter, the paper explains that beginners ages, beginners ages limited to infants and children. We explained the beginner’s character performance before learning piano, as well as beginner’s teaching content,through survey two groups of six people in 24 weeks to learn the piano,studied before and after learning the piano character changes, find out the influence. We also surveyed 10 beginner’s parents to compare the changes before and after learning the piano in study habits, mental development,physical coordination, mood fluctuations, perseverance and cultural qualities.From the data of these investigations.In the fourth chapter, overall description of the role of the piano on the character develop. By describing the piano education, method, psychology,modern medicine and large amounts of data and examples analysis, explained piano education is good for character building in two ways. Clearly improve that piano education is multifaceted,hugged,irreplaceable.At the same time we suggest improve the effect of piano education put forward.The author’s aim is keep us with times, to provide more scientific and more advanced piano education services, cultivate more outstanding piano talents. Piano education is special,to piano learners, especially for beginners in develop the personality have a positive effect. Through the piano beginner’s character and habits analyzes, to identify the piano education’s irreplaceable,positive effect witch is this paper’s highlights. We proved piano education is an important way to shape the character of young children by diverse,multi-angle,multi-level.
