The Semantic Analysis And Rhetoric Interpretation Of “Hua” And The Words Include “Hua”

“Hua” has a very long history and rich cultural meaning. There are lots of Chinese words which include “Hua”. The semantic analysis of these words is helpful to deepen the concept cognition of “Hua”.This paper mainly analyzes “Hua” and the words of “Hua” from the semantic and rhetorical interpretation. Meanwhile, the semantic features and the producing ways of rhetoric semantic meaning of “Hua” and words of “Hua” are interpreted. The author sums up the meaning of “Hua” in Ci Yuan, Ci Hai, the Dictionary of Acient Commonly Used Chinese, the Grand Dictionary of Chinese Characters and the Great Chinese dictionary, analyzes semantic meaning of “Hua” and interprets the relationship between its basic meaning and other meanings. What’s more, it summarizes seven senses “Hua1” to “Hua7” that having tight contact. Then it focuses on the words of “Hua1” to “Hua7” that compiled in the Great Chinese dictionary. Also it classifies the words of “Hua” of some senses in diffrent kinds. In addition, it explores the producing ways of rhetoric semantic meaning of words of “Hua”-- most of them evolve from the original meaning of “Hua” by metaphor and metonymy. The detailedly analyses of “Hua” and the words of “Hua” present a very clear visage of “Hua”.
