The Biography Research Of Jebtsundamba Khutughtu I Living Buddha Zanabazar

This paper, conducts a literature study on six kinds versions of biography contents of Jebtsundamba Khutughtu I, Zanabazar, with using of comparative research methods. First, according to the nature of six kinds of biographies, classify as two types: annals biographies and stories biographies. Secondly briefly introduce the content of biography, compares the similar biographies and explore the similarities and differences between different versions. Furthermore, study the historical and cultural value of biography content.This paper consists of four parts: preface, body, conclusion, reference. Preface introduces the selection of thesis, research significance, content and themes, research methods, innovation and so on. The body contains three sections. First, introduce the overview of biography research of the living Buddha Zanabazar. Second, according to the character of biography of Zanabazar, classify as two categories; introduce the content of biography briefly; compare similar biographies and summarize their similarities and differences. Conclusion summarizes the entire paper.
