A Study Of The Judicial Adviser’s Status In The Qing Dynasty

In the Qing Dynasty,the judicial adviser is the helpful people who is hired by the official,they help the local officials to deal with the legal affairs.This paper focuses on the judicial adviser’s status of the Qing Dynasty,respectively from the three aspects of social status, economic status and legal status.Firstly, through the two aspects of courtesy from the local officials and respect from the people to highlight the judicial adviser’s respected social status;economic status, this paper introduces their high salary;on the legal status, judicial adviser hears a case and controls the local judicial power behind the local officials,and the Qing government has issued many regulations to prevent them without authorization.In addition, through access to relevant information,this paper introduced and analyzed the cause of the Qing Dynasty judicial adviser status,make the objective evaluation on their status and set out to their contributions to the development of legal culture in Qing Dynasty.
