The Marginalized In The Novels Of Chen Zhi

Chen Zhi, representative of the new generation in Guangxi literature, is considered as one of the New Three Musketeers of Guangxi literature. Looking through his composition, “marginal men”is a clue running through all his works, and create a large number of identity is different, distinctive characters in the novel, especially the common people living in the bottom of city. Beginning with “the image writing of marginal men”, this essay focuses on evaluating the features and artistic cannotation of Chen Zhi’s works as a whole by analyzing the marginal men’s image features and spiritual predicament as well as Chen Zhi’s personal experience, emotion and writing style, thus, to explore the significance and impact of “the image of marginal men” in Chen Zhi’s works.
