This paper creates and reshapes image of Mulan from musical narration and social value through discusses image shape of Mulan, which is based on national opera Mulan. At the same time musical narration and social value of opera Mulan are interpreted and discussed, which for analyzing education function of imagined community via creating the musical image of Mulan in the whole opera.The truth and concepts proposed in the thesis is discussed and defined in the introduction, in which part research status, paper structure, study methods and significance of the topic are elaborated. In section one, the image shape and creation of Mulan are stated by combing history evolution of Mulan and analyzing reasons why Mulan’s becoming culture code is because of thousands of years historical precipitation and text developments.
