Geometric Language Study Of Chinese Contemporary Abstract Painting

Abstract painting has greatly developed in the 20th century western painting circles, which becomes a classical type of Western art. As the major phenomenon of modernist painting, Abstract painting became one of the basic painting language systems. After a period of China’s reform and opening up, all kinds of ideas and trends of Western modern art paintings began to affect the development of Chinese Contemporary Art. The exploration of Abstraction in Chinese oil painting has made significant achievements. A number of artists and art works emerged. The author started the research from the most unique "geometric characteristics" form language of abstract painting and investigates the features of the geometric language in the abstract paintings of the Western painting circles. Take the learning process of Chinese abstract painting as the thread. The author has been trying to explore the history of the Chinese abstract painting development in the geometry form language, features and other aspects of cultural connotation.In this paper, analysis of the Chinese language geometric abstract paintings made with experimental exploration and research Huaiqing Wang, Monroe Ding, Ding Yi and other works of specific artists, explores the geometric abstraction in a specific cultural background of China produced new content and new forms. Study found that Chinese contemporary abstract geometric painting in the development of language is not only influenced by the Western modernist painting. Contemporary Chinese Painting Artists of the choice of language is derived from the geometry, art forms inherent artistic concepts behind. Also influenced by Chinese traditional culture and modern constitute art. In the context of this paper, blending Chinese and Western-depth analysis of contemporary Chinese abstract painting in a variety of geometric characteristics of language development. Through the study of specific painters and their works explore the Chinese contemporary abstract painting in geometric modeling language diversity, and geometric abstract language of contemporary Chinese painting nationalization of significance.
