The experiential teaching method is a method which is based on the constructivism, It advocates “teaching in doing, learning in doing, developing in doing”, It emphasizes the importance of process, pays attention to the entertainment of teaching, pays attention to the application of knowledge and emphasizes student’s main body status. But it doesn’t neglect the guiding role of the teacher. The experiential teaching method has played a important role in changing the studying way of the students and inspiring the interests of the students in learning. Oral Chinese class is a subject training language skills, it leans close to the real life. The characteristics of the experiential teaching method meets the requirement of the primary oral Chinese class. Combining the experiential teaching method and the primary oral Chinese class, let the students construct the knowledge system in the situation and the interaction, to strengthen the learning interest, to improve the leaning efficiency, to solid foundation and to be ready for the practical application. At present, in China, the experiential teaching method is widely used in the teaching of a lot of discipline and has achieved good results. But it doesn’t apply widely in the field of teaching Chinese as a second language. Choosing three classes of international students as the research object, to understand the learning situation of international students in spoken Chinese class. Putting the experiential teaching method applied to the primary oral Chinese class to prove that in the experiential oral Chinese class, the classroom atmosphere becomes more active, the students’ interest in leaning improves obviously, the teachers and students communicate smoothly and the students master language knowledge very solidly. In experiential class, the international students really improve the comprehensive ability to use language.
