In recent years, Chinese teaching gets stronger influence around the world. Romania, one of the EU member, with the further interactions between China and Romania, requires more professionals who are familiar with Chinese and its culture. Chinese teaching in Romania has been in the period of rapid development. This article will take this as background, with the author at the University of Pitesti teaching experience of 10 months, to discuss the "New Practical Chinese Reader," teaching strategy from the implementation of teaching pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and Chinese characters. Which pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar section first discusses the contrast between Chinese and Romanian language, followed by analysis of textbooks and teaching choreography implementation strategy, In the pronunciation teaching of this paper, it’s difficult for students to pronounce "zh", "ch", "sh", "r", "g". List topic, classify the word in same meaning in vocabulary teaching. In grammar teaching, focus on directional verb, form of words. In Chinese characters, students have less knowledge of the writing. About "New Practical Chinese Reader", the grammar explanation is too simple, and the lack of Chinese comments, ignoring the multi-tone word phenomenon, premature detachment alphabet and other issues.
