A Report On The Translation Of “Special And Differential Treatment In The Multilateral Trading System”

This is a report on the translation of “Special and Differential Treatment in the Multilateral Trading System” written by the renowned scholar, Pallavi Kishore. The paper, about 10000 words, was published in The Chinese Journal of International Law on July 3, 2014 with no Chinese translation. The Journal is published by Oxford University Press, which is a general international law journal with a focus on materials about China, other parts of Asia, and the broader developing world. After finishing the translation, the translator not only has realized her shortcomings in learning and using the translation theories but also has acquired some specialized knowledge and methods, which enables her to accumulate more knowledge.
