With the rapid development of globalization, exchange and cooperation betweennations have became more frequent. The scope of this kind of exchange andcooperation have expanded from politics and economy to culture. The cross-borderreligious communication and exchange are the very embodiment of the expansion ofcultural exchange. In the meantime, the interpretation which serves religiousexchange was born. This interpretation practice is an attempt in this respect. Althoughthis kind of interpretation falls out of the category of the mainstream of interpretationand the need for it is little, the platform it provides for interpretation practice also hassome significance.Through this practice, the author deeply realized how important having profoundunderstanding of a certain field is to being a good interpreter in that field. This thesisis based on the consecutive interpretation practice done in February2015for thebiblical talk themed book of Daniel held at an American Christian friend’s home.First, this thesis introduces the background of this activity and the thoroughpre-interpretation preparation process; then based on the recording of interpretation, itsummarizes the problems and errors in the interpretation process, puts them intodifferent categories and uses relevant theories to analyze them; last, it sums up thelessons drawn from this interpretation practice and tries to provide correspondingsolutions for corresponding the problems so that it can be a reference for others in thefuture.
