Decorative art is a very wide range of integrated arts. it plays an important role in promotingcorporate image and the development of decoration art design industry. At present, Shanghai isknown as The Design Capital, while the influx of a large number of decorative art enterprise,accepting a variety of the latest design concepts of baptism. New design concepts and methods putforward higher requirements on vocational skills and professionalism to decorative art designpractitioners, also presents a challenge to their professional training and assessment appraisal.This paper bases on the actual case of the decorative art vocational training developmentproject, in accordance with the project development process from the establishment of a panel,data collection, market research, interviews with industry experts, the assessment groupdemonstration, vocational training research, vocational skills certification examination, exampreparation etc. Roundly display the research process of the decorative art vocational skillsenhance. specific sections as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the following knowledge: the originand background of the subject, purpose and significance of the subject, decorative art designprofessional status, the necessity of the decorative art career advancement, national vocationalqualification certificate system, the main mode of decorative art vocational trainingprograms’development.The second chapter is a decorative art professional task analysis. From the workingassumption of the decorative artists career advancement and decorative art design professionalstatus starting, use a variety of research methods, combining market research, related professionalbooks inspection and the analysis of the original decorative art national standards, and use themodular concept to conclude preliminary of decorative art task analysis.The third chapter is the career identification of decorative arts. Including the programming ofidentification of decorative art modular, identification elements breakdown,and the programmingof setting technical requirements of identification points.The fourth chapter is decorative art vocational training research. Including the latestinterpretation of the requirements of vocational training planning, training planning and theprograming of setting conditions of professional training institutions.The fifth chapter is exam programing of the decorative art professional sample questions.The sixth chapter is the conclusion. It summarizes the key part of this project promotion andresearch, as the basis of decorative art vocational training and identification.The innovation of this paper is to highlight the core functions of decorative art, keep theapplicable skills in the existing decorative art design professional standards, and exclude theuseless and outdated skills. To find common ground and differences between commercial art design and logo design that include the knowledge and skills. Finally, with the analyzing andsummarizing of decorative art design professional status quo at home and abroad, using a newdesign concept of this modular design, and basing on the actual talent needs of modern society andbusiness, to change and upgrade corresponding vocational skill requirements of decorative art, andmake skills training and identification of decorative art staff more suitable for corporate’srequirement, and more able to adapt to the needs of market development.
