Abstract:Abnormal psychology, as originaly listed in the research category of psychology(a member of natural Sciences), after been introduced into humanism science fields, has transcended the boundaries of different disciplines by the guidance of humanistic concern and been bearing the special meaning and affection of literary creation.Lots of abnormal psychological phenomenons can be seen in Mo Yan’s novels. The description of personality disorder, the analysis of distorted psychosexual disorder, and the reveal of freaked-obsession¶noea of the characters in his novels all depicted the part of daily life been overlooked frequently by the masses. It makes people think about what has triggered abnormal mentalities in sociology, history or culture etc. Nevertheless, Mo Yan does’t mean to just describe the morbidity humanities, but more willing to criticize the root laid in our history and social fields which resulted these abnormal mentalities by creating the typical characters.Mo Yan was born in a peculiar times. When he was a child, he suffered the desperation of starvation and loneliness, and in his upbring, he stumbled through the violent and turbulent period, with the addition of the absence of family love. All these experiences subtly influenced Mo Yan’s writing, and impressed his works with the mark of his childhood. Mo Yan has seen so many injustices and miseries so that he can penetrate through the darkness of society and the corruption of governments and write these ludicrous thins into his works.By the description of abnormal psychology, he reappeared the persecution that feudal thought and feudalism done to people, revealed the disasters that dark politicians and social disorders brought to them and unfolded the hate secrets and ugliness in human’s inner side. Meanwhile, the pitching-in of abnormal psychology also enriched the characters’inward world and helped make some very classic novel characters. It also added a magic ring to the novels, and thus did a good job to build Mo Yan’s significant writing style.
