Shi Zhecun’s novels are the most representative and typical psychoanalysis novels in the history of Chinese Modern Novels. He digs characters’ subconscious areas and shows the alienation of their behaviors and the abnormality of their sexual psychology by the method of psychological analysis. This thesis carries out the research on Shi Zhecun’s psychoanalysis novels from the theoretical perspective of abnormal psychology, aiming at deepening the case analysis and explanation of the writer and his novels from the integration between literary experience and theoretical results of psychology. From this, it will be easier to feel writer’s various emotional experience of the society and individuals. Thus, the literary works will show extraordinary glamour and luster.This thesis is divided into three chapters except the introduction and conclusion.Chapter 1, the internal and external motivation of the formation of Shi Zhecun’s psychoanalysis novels’ styles. The transition of time and social culture provides conditions for the continued growth of new literature and new ideas and chances for the appearance of new culture space and intellectuals of independent qualities. Meanwhile, it makes the early awakened confused and puzzled. Faced with special historical situation and specific cultural traditions, Shi Zhecun, like other Chinese modern intellectuals, couldn’t avoid the lonely experience brought by the transition of social culture and get rid of the complex entanglement of his own inner contradictions and conflicts. Under the penetration and influence of foreign literary trends poured in China, he gained the key to analyzing human’s nature. His psychoanalysis novels are the product of the strike between the spiritual power accumulating in a long time and the results of western modern civilization.Chapter 2, multiplex showcase of abnormal psychology in Shi Zhecun’s psychoanalysis novels. Delicate and profound description of abnormal psychology is the biggest characteristic of Shi Zhecun’s novels. With reference to relevant theories and views of Abnormal Psychology, this chapter includes the presentation of abnormal psychology in Shi Zhecun’s novels in four aspects: the dig of ‘abnormal’ desires, the exploration of subconscious, the description of sadistic and masochistic psychology and the representation of dual and multiple personality. What’s more, this chapter does ‘pathological’ analysis and researches on these ‘diseases’, combining with concrete novels.Chapter 3, the further spiritual exploration and initiative significance of Shi Zhecun’s psychoanalysis novels. His psychoanalysis novels express different literary characters and pursuits from previous novel creations and achieve the modernization and uniqueness that fixed novel modes fail to accomplish. His further explorations of characters’ inner psychology demonstrate empirical spirit and innovative bravery. This kind of publication of individual life consciousness and subjective spiritual power makes up the new cultural connotation and modern value of his psychoanalysis novels.
