Zheng Xianfu legend could still be circulating in the regions ofGuangdong and Guangxi.His legend circle was formed with the center ofbaishi village and the evidences such as his tomb, ancestral hall, formerresidence and so on. The study on Zheng Xianfu of academic communitywas mainly on the textual research of his life story and the discussion onthe thought.Now,there were more persons who stayed in the collectionphase of Zheng Xianfu legend instead of studyed on the theory.In modern oral informations, the image of Zheng Xianfu is diverse.Zheng Xianfu legend was divided into five categories, a talented andindustrious scholar was formed in the theme of Zheng Xianfu who was asa student; The circumstance that Zheng Xianfu imparted knowledge andeducated people reappeared when he was a teacher; The story of ZhengXianfu who cared people was narrated when he was a older brother;Histrue image was presented in the theme of Zheng Xianfu`s character.Through the analysis of Zheng Xianfu legend,we found that somecommon types of literati legends were often plagiarized. In his legend.there are a lot of poems which could be found in other literati legends,and Ithink this borrow phenomenon can be called "substitutestealthily”.In Zheng Xianfu legend, the narrative mode was ralativelyfixed, which was also common in many literati legends.Zheng Xianfu legend was diffused by oral or internet. In the process ofbuilding cultural brand, the government played an important role; Localscholars played their own advantages;As the loyal defenders of localculture,they were playing the important role for protecting localculture.Above all, the building of the cultural brand of Zheng Xianfu hadobtained some results in everyone`s efforts.
