The Study On Ethical Narration Of Chinese Family Ethics Drama

In recent years, the family ethics dramas are receiving more and more affection and attention, the creative characteristics of this kind of dramas that are closely to people’s life have caused the emotional resonance of the viewers. Such TV palys usually focus on the love of family, the contradictions between husband and wife, the conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law and the intergenerational conflicts between parents and children, and carefully depict people’s emotional attitude and the ethical orientation of the connotation of contemporary social life to marriage life,the concept of virginity, ecomomic disputes, the balance between desire and responsibility. In the early1990s, a TV play named "Desire" made a sensation throughout the country and moved thousands of people, the appearance of which began to make the family ethics play into a specific development path. The family ethics plays from the early90s to the front of the new century paid attention to the sorrows and joys of ordinary people,and formed the basic narrative pattern that took the relationship between characters and emotional entanglements as the center of the narration,and initially established the popular narrative characteristics of the family ethics plays. Since the21st century, Chinese family ethics play has achieved further development and the common everyday narrative mode has become the narrative characteristics of this kind of TV series,and rich teleplay creation practice and successive viewing climax also greatly promote the theoretical research related to the family ethics play. The paper will regard some domestic influential and outstanding family ethics plays in the new century as the research objects, respectively discuss the contents from following four aspects. In the first part of this paper, the ethical relationships of the family ethics plays are analyzed deeply in terms of blood relationship, marriage relationship, and non-blood or non-marriage relationship. The family ethical relationship based on blood relationship is analyzed in terms of parental love and brotherly love. The family ethical relationship based on marriage relationship is analyzed in terms of co-ordination between husband and wife, relationship of lack of trust, relationship of being lost in emotion, and relationship of being challenged. Detailed analysis of the four different relationships is carried out. For the family ethical relationship based on non-blood or non-marriage relationship, various forms of the relationships between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are mainly analyzed. The contradiction and conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is analyzed in terms of emotional competition, cultural difference, and economic benefits. In the second part of this paper, the narrative characteristics of ethical narration are analyzed mainly in two terms:the featuring of the characters and language characteristics and narrative structures. In the ethical narration of family-ethics, the creators are more inclined to use the technique of contrast to create characters, and made the chatting type of language style to extreme. In addition, the creators tell the daily life of common people often according to chronological order. In the third part of this paper, the inheritance and development of traditional virtues and socialist core values is analyzed for the ethical narration of family-ethics. China is a county that advocates ethics in particular. As an important part of Chinese traditional culture, traditional ethics have important impact on the formation of the national virtues. In the mordent TV plays, the ethical narration of family-ethics vigorously promoted traditional spirit of Chinese culture, which was consistent with the aesthetic need of contemporary. In the fourth part of the paper, the creation limitation and future of the ethical narration of family-ethics are analyzed and summarized, it points out that it gains achievements, it should also recognize the limitation of its current development and future trends, and thus provide many more excellent family ethics dramas for TV viewers.
