When the foreign students study Chinese in China, they often find that they can’tcommunicate with other people ideally if they just learn the language. In the structure oflanguage, which includes expression, mode of thinking, emotional ways,concept of value,etc. These factors affect that the foreign students communicate with other people inChinese effectively. Among them, due to culture of the European and American countriesis very different from the Chinese culture, the students from European and American willfeel more obvious. This phenomenon brings a new problem for the International ChineseEducation, this problem is common but not really be solved. We should accurately findthe pragmatic errors caused by cultural differences when the European and Americanstudents communicate in Chinese, analyze the underlying causes of this phenomenon,and targeted put forward effective teaching strategies.In this paper, the main research content is the teaching of cultural communication,focuses on the European and American students. Introduction part of the paper describesthe overseas and domestic research status of same subject. The first chapter contactsteaching practice, re-analyses the definition of culture and verbal communication culture,and the relationship between language and culture. The second chapter combines currentproblems raised by International Chinese Education, discusses the necessity andsignificance of strengthening the verbal communication culture teaching. The chapterthree and chapter four investigates the pragmatic errors and analyses its causes. Thechapter five is based on the results of teaching, and some related strategies are suggested.In this paper, several research methods are used, including logical argument, analysis ofrepresentative cases, integrating theory with practice, so-called the analysis of history andlogic. Researches, analyses and summarizes the pragmatic errors, the causes for thispriblem. On the basis of research, combines with practice and widely absorbes thevaluable research results at home and abroad, and offers some teaching strategies. |
