At the end of nineteenth Century and early twentieth Century, a large number ofstudents with the "national salvation" dream, be forced to leave one’s hometown,studying exotic, who started the first large-scale study abroad in China modern history.The Qing government promulgated and implemented a series of policies to strengthenand the management of students in order to prevent students revolutionary tendencies.One of important measures is the policy of the final imperial examination. As a resultof the implementation of the policy of foreign graduate exam, final imperialexamination foreign graduates group then appears. The so-called the final imperialexamination foreign graduates group refers to special groups of students through thefinal imperial examination foreign graduates examination. This group showeddifferent characteristics compared with students, so it is particularly necessary tostudy this special group.This paper consists of introduction, text, conclusion, reference. The main part ofthis paper are as follows:The first part mainly introduces the rise of the upsurge of studying the historicalbackground and the foreign graduates examination policy, which is implemented bythe Qing government. This paper analyzes the study abroad rise, the implementationstatus and foreign graduates examination policy of Qing Dynasty was briefly, fromthe Qing government, Japan, students aspects.The second part mainly summarizes the characteristics of final imperialexamination graduate students group. This paper analyzes the group characteristicsfrom the final imperial examination geographical distribution, the study situation ofeducation, degree and thought aspects, which can reflect the overall outlook of thefinal imperial examination graduate students.The third part mainly discusses political tendency and activities of some finalimperial examination graduate students. This paper mainly discusses the reason forfinal imperial examination students graduates participating in improvement,revolutionary political activities and the main activities.The fourth part mainly narrates education and industrial activities of the finalimperial examination students, highlighting specific role of the final imperialexamination students in the modern education and the industrial modernization.
