With the rapid development of China’s economy, has exposed the moral field, more and more problems, embodied in all kinds of moral anomie phenomenon emerge in endlessly, moral indifference phenomenon also happen from time to tome. Moral indifference phenomenon in the social life in today’s China is not an unfamiliar vocabulary; its bad impact on the general mood of society has made many people realize the moral indifference is a contagious disease."Moral indifference" is in the nature of the sense of moral indifference, the "moral" here includes not only the moral ideal, moral personality, ethics and moral realm, morality, and including the moral behavior, moral characters, ethical relationship and ethical obligations and moral practice. Said, from the internal relationship between moral indifference contains ethical indifference, the latter is the former performance of reality.This paper based on the basic theories of ethics, combining sociology, pedagogy, psychology and other related disciplines of moral indifference made some exploratory research. The text is divided into three parts, the first part, after fully understand the related concepts of moral indifference, the classification, all kinds of moral indifference phenomenon in after a profound moral cognition to moral indifference phenomenon, further analysis after it may produce harm. The second part, firstly analyzes the background of social transformation of moral apathy of ethical relations change, leading to the relative to the vacuum in the field of ethics, the formal education, which reflect all finally the person, and it is concluded that the fundamental cause of moral indifference. The third part is on the basis of the above analysis trying to cope with moral indifference questions taken by the basic train of thought.
