| Chinese has become the most popular foreign language which the largest numbers of students study in Thailand, as Thai government values trade between Thai and fast developing China. Not only young students, but also adults are interested in studying Chinese cause Chinese helps them doing business well.Textbook is the material that teachers teach and student study based on, and it is elementary part of school teaching as well as the teaching plan and teaching program. Textbook has an important place among four links of teaching activities. The quality of textbook tells how deep the teaching theory and research goes, and it also determines the effect of teaching to a great extent.My paper is doing research with Experiencing Chinese and Practical Chinese these two textbooks which are typically used in high schools in Thai as objects. My paper studies the text, new words, grammar, cultural content, as well as compares and analysis the two textbooks. My paper is aimed at finding advantages of the two books as well as the disadvantages, then providing some suggestions for the writing of Chinese language textbook for Thai.
