The Study On "Disposal Construction" In The Gu Zhang Jue Chen

Gu Zhang Jue Chen was one of the most famous books written by Jin Mu sanrenin Chong Zhen Years at the end of Ming Dynasty in the area of Jiangsu and Zhejiangprovince. The book had more than200thousand words and it owned great languagevalue for both readers and researchers. Being so popular and vivid, the book couldbasically reflect the current situation of language at the end of Ming Dynasty.“Disposal Construction” is one of the most important sentence patterns in Chinesegrammar system, and this paper tries to make a study of the Disposal construction in GuZhang Jue Chen. The author tries to make a full description and classification of the“Jiang” and “Ba” sentence patterns in this book. And this paper will be divided intothree Chapters form the aspects of Introduction, Body and Conclusion.In the introduction part, the author will firstly point out the significance andacademic value of studying the book Gu Zhang Jue Chen; and then try to make aliterature review of the study of this book and the “Disposal Construction” in it; andfinally the author will point out this paper will use statistic method and comparisonmethod to make a full analysis of the Disposal Construction in this book.In the main body part, the author will make an analysis of the “DisposalConstruction” pattern in Gu Zhang Jue Chen from six aspects, namely, the classificationof “Jiang” and “Ba” sentence pattern;“Jiang” and “Ba” as predict; adverbial modifier;object, complement and “Jiang” and “Ba” as special sentence structure. Firstly, theauthor will conclude and total how many times the “Jiang” and “Ba” sentence patternappeared in the book and their different usages, and the author will make a detailedclassification of the usage of Disposal Construction pattern according to Wu Fugxiang’sstandard of classification, and then, make a comparative analysis of the usage and timesof appearance of “Jiang” and “Ba” sentence patterns. Secondly, the author will make adetailed description and analysis of the Disposal Construction in Gu Zhang Jue Chenfrom the following four aspects: the form of Disposal Construction’s predict verbs, theideographic function of adverbials, the construction of Disposal preposition’s objectsand the relationship between the disposal prepositions and its predict verbs’ relevantobject, and the type of complement and its ideography. And at last, the author will make an analysis of those special sentence patterns, such as the negative DisposalConstruction; the “Ba” and “Bei” co-occurrence sentence pattern and the ellipticalsentence’s disposal pattern. Through this all-around analysis of the usage of DisposalConstruction in Gu Zhang Jue Chen, the author tries to show readers a furtherunderstanding of Disposal Construction at the end of Ming Dynasty, and give readers aperception abuout how the Disposal Construction at that time influenced modernChinese’s Disposal Construction development.At the end of this paper, the author will represent those important research resultshave done in the second part. Meanwhile, the author will restate the significance ofstudying Disposal Construction to the modern Chinese grammar.
