Studies haveshown that the presence of the Tibetan personality factors importantly influences mentalhealth, however, there has not been a congruence relationship between the self andmental health of the Tibetan people and its also found that there is no personality traits,self-harmonious relationship between mental health and research mechanism of action.In this study, through questionnaires and empirical research methods in order toquantify Tibetan adult, personality traits, self-harmony and overall mental healthdifferences, the correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of the mediating effectwere investigated. Conclusions drawn out are as follows:(1) After comparison of Tibetan adult personality traits with the norm, it is found thatfrom both inside and outside the Tibetan Adult have more neuroticism scores than thenorm,they present outgoing personality characteristics, but their mood is more unstable;their funky personality traits are lower than the norm,these qualities shows Tibetanadults have simple personality; by comparison, their spiritual levels are high on theother hand research shows Tibetan adults with personality traits of stubborn, lonely,do not care about others.(2) Compare to the norm,we found that the overall level of self-congruence in Tibetanadults are more general. Among them, the discordant self experiences a high score,which reflects the ability of Tibetan adults and emotional self-evaluation experiences alow level, there is a self-consistency of contradiction, helplessness and so on.(3) The overall level of mental health of the Tibetans adult is poorer than norm.Among them, the positive mood and cognitive function dimension scores higher thanthe norm whereas psychological symptoms and negative mood scores two times lower than the norm.(4) Tibetan adult personality traits are of gender differences: Men score higher thanwomen on multiple traits; no difference in the number of household; Age difference:three age sessions of Tibetan adults on multiple personality traits has significantdifference; degree of culture difference:different cultures on multiple levels ofindividual personality traits has significant difference; annual income differences:different individual annual income on multiple personality traits are significantlydifferent; marital status differences: multiple trait scores more than unmarried married;differences in survival mode:different way of life on the dimension of L pristine hassignificant difference.(5) Adult Tibetan self-congruence gender differences: men and women on themultiple dimensions of self-harmony significant differences, women’s self-congruencebetter than men; no difference in the number of household; Age difference:three agesessions of Tibetan adults on multiple dimensions of self-congruence has significantdifference; education level differences: different cultural dimensions discord extent onindividual self experience significant difference; annual income differences: differentindividual annual income on self flexibility dimension significant difference; Maritalstatus differences: unmarried on discord dimension of self and experience scored higherthan married; survival mode differences: different way of life in congruence scores onself-significant difference.(6) No Tibetan adult mental health gender differences; no difference in the number ofhousehold; Age difference: three age sessions of Tibetan adults of mental health inmultiple dimensions has a significant difference; education level has no difference; nodifference in annual income; marriage status differences: unmarried scores more onpositive emotions than married; no difference in way of life.(7) Tibetan adult personality traits, self-congruence and mental health, there is acertain degree of correlation between the two, and have reached significantly.(8) Tibetan self congruence adult personality traits, personality traits and mentalhealth, self-congruence for mental health has significant predictors.(9) Self congruence between Tibetans and mental health of adult personality partiallymediated the proportion of the total effect with mediating effect of19.41%. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Tibetan Adult, Personality Traits, Self-Congruence, MentalHealth | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
