From the view of Wen Xin Diao Long research, the body metaphors research of this book is an innovational attempt in Linguistics (especially in the field of Cognitive Linguistics). From the perspective of cognitive metaphor, the potential structural metaphor of human body runs through the book Wen Xin Diao Long."This is Human Body", this root metaphor creates complete branching metaphors. This article is studying on the body metaphors phenomenon in Wen Xin Diao Long. With analyzing the corresponding projection among the structure of "Human&Article","Substantial Human Organs&External Article" and "Abstract Human Organs&Article Implication", the writer makes a comprehension of the book from the view of human cognition.There are two difficulties in this article. First, the corpus of Wen Xin Diao Long is large-scale,"methodical, branchy, elaborately annotated, various". It is a big obstacle for the writer to comprehend the book while studying on it. Second, though the theory of cognitive linguistics (especially cognitive metaphor) has been a researching upsurge in the field of foreign linguistics since lots of years ago, this research in China is kind of lagging behind. People usually used the pattern of theory leading text, and the combination of them is not perfect.There is also two points of innovation here:first is the combination of the studying origin and internal verification. Second, the writer use new theory and view to verify internally from the cultural context and concept analysis. It is a breakthrough for the traditional explanations and vocabulary research about Wen Xin Diao Long.Based on the comprehensive use of lexicology, semantics and cognitive metaphor theories of linguistics, meanwhile from the perspective and analysis of Wen Xin Diao Long, the writer classifies the human body words with metaphor organically, then through the statistics and analysis on sentences with specific vocabulary in text, to try to show a new side of Wen Xin Diao Long. The writer hope to make a systematized perspective and scientific explanation of Wen Xin Diao Long with use of a new linguistic theory and method, and to do an innovative attempt for the combination of cognitive linguistics theory and classical explanation in China, to try to objectively analyze the body metaphor in Wen Xin Diao Long. This article includes five chapters.They are mainly as below:The first chapter is mainly to state the research object, current research status, purpose, key points and innovational points, and to make a brief specification for the main cognitive linguistics theory in text.The second chapter is to analyze the metaphorical frame of "the text is human body". This paper has a thought that the author of Wen Xin Diao Long hides a huge metaphor structure in the context of the book. In the second chapter, the writer briefly tidy the cultural context influence of Liu Xiu’s life and cultural background to Wen Xin Diao Long, then through the analysis of "paper (Chapter)-(human) body" mapping to explain cognitive metaphor of the "body" in Wen Xin Diao Long.The third chapter is mainly to study on the cognitive metaphor of entities of human body words like "bone""skin""pulse" and other related vocabulary.The fourth chapter is mainly to analyze the metaphors of abstract human body words in Wen Xin Diao Long, like "heart","Qi" and other related words. Through the above several aspects of the analysis of the text, the writer summarizes that the body metaphor phenomenon exists everywhere in Wen Xin Diao Long and hope to provide ad new perspective for the explanation of the relative words with these analysisThe fifth chapter is a summary of the article, in which the writer summarizes the main research findings and problems needing further study, at the same time list the shortages and points needing further improvement.
