A Study Of The Nudes Of Sanyu

Targeted on the research of nudes of Sanyu paintings, along the main line of herexperience, with the purpose of interpreting Sanyu’s body painting in differentperiods, this paper was narrated in three chapters. Chapter one the trail of art in Francewas the looking back of Sanyu’s family over her youth, finding the reason residing inFrance so as to analyze the forming of her painting style. Chapter two was the verykey part of this paper. In this chapter, it mainly analyzed Sanyu’s paintings’ stylebased on different period of time in France,“pink period” and black period. Chapterthree was also the main part. Triggered by Sanyu’s body painting, comparing withother three representative domestic painters in France such as Xu Beihong, PanYuliang and Pang Xunqin, analyzed their nude painting styles on Commonness andcharacteristics, narrated self-expression and inter-influence between their works, sodid the representative painters Matisse and Amedeo Modigliani in France.This paper was generally a preliminary study, mainly on sorting out andclassifying the materials on Sanyu. Meanwhile, some previous minor mistakes werecorrected. Hopefully the analysis and interpration on the small part of Sanyu’s workmay inspire more and deeper study from others in future.
