The Study Of The Antique Brozen Patterns For The Design Application

Chinese ancient bronze vessels have an individual position in the art history, which are one of the classical part of Chinese art. The decorative patterns of bronze also have unique aesthetic feature and so as its style, which is the epitome of social aesthetic ideology from Xia to Qin and Han dynasty. Today we stand at the height of the social development, doing the research of bronze ornamentation for more in-depth level, which has extremely important practical significance and theoretical value.This dissertation is based on predecessors’ research, toclarify,explore,and research on such key problems about the formation,style and aesthetic characteristics of decorative patterns of bronze, using the method such as text, image, cultural anthropology ect.,The development of ornamentation bronze has a history of over1600years, but somehow the development of modern design in our country has only last for a few decades.For the modern design, applying the decorative patterns of the bronze and its new connotation is of significant value. The main purpose of this dissertation is in order to summarize the rules and methods with its application in modern design after the in-depth analysis of the modern design cases of the bronze decorative patterns, which to provide some new theoretical support and practical exploration of the antique brozen patterns for the design application.
