Turandot is the last wok of Giacomo Puccini who is a known as a famous realism opera master of Italy. Turandot is well known as its Chinese style in most opera works. After the first performance there are a lot number of versions which reorganize the performance. This issue choose the most four illustrious versions to compare and discuss. The method of issue includes the Aesthetics of Music Stagecraft and Musicology, the objective of this issue is the progressive and creativity of each version. The main point is to refine the special aesthetics of Chinese revise. The result shows that the successful adaption of opera must adjust the culture environment and economic circumstance. The premiere version shows that the abandon of incomplete work helps respect the origin authority. In the Metropolitan version, famous tenor Domingo and Soprano Maria Callas improve the level of performance. The version of forbidden-city shows that the virtual stagecraft makes the story back to the original features both in time and space way. The wonderful visual effects of Bird’s Nest version depend on the advanced technology of stagecraft. The aesthetic characteristics and performance practice of opera and music is abstracted through the comparative way and progress the aesthetic experience of audience. The main idea of the issue is to discuss the method to adapt the tradition western opera. At last search some positive factors to develop the traditional musical art form.
