A Brief Exposition Of Ban-hu’s Development And Prospects

It has been more than60years since Ban-hu mounted the stage of solo performance. Compared with its glory time,it seems that it has slacked off all those years,thus now its bright period has passed away.This phenomenon deserves careful pondering.The scholars of Ban-hu are eager to change this current situation;they endeavored in many aspects and attained some achievements.But it is still a long way to go before the glory time of the Ban-hu reappeared.The theory of Ban-hu is still vulnerable,we lack systematical exposition of its development;Therefore,I want to sort out its progress to fill in a gap and try to figure out its way out.I sincerely hope to exert my little strength to make my own contribution to it.The main object of this paper is the development of Ban-hu.This paper could be divided in three sections.The first section is about Ban-hu’s origins and development in time order.The second section is about its existing circumstances.The third section is about its future prospect from its composition,playing techniques and education.
