Korea opened its domestic movie market in1986completely. However, just after20years, Korean movies has completed its all-round rise despite of the background that movies all around the world are eroded by Hollywood, which has become a cultural event of highly research value. The interaction between Korean movies and Hollywood genre movies always play an important role in that process. From its unique perspective of national culture, Korean movies establish an Asian narrative pattern different from Hollywood. And on this basis, Korean movies create subgenre movies characterized by national features and Asian sense, which exactly shows that the film culture of a country becomes mature. That movie development con-cept and pattern of cultural perspective are full of research value to Chinese movies.Since the1990’s, especially after the new millennium, the roles of investigators played by females appear more and more frequently in Korean contemporary crime movies, which elicits a certain subgenre narrative pattern based on their Asian cultural images and the unique narrative mechanism in the genre text where they exist. Taking figures as the breakthrough point, this paper will discuss the narrative mechanism fea-tures that exclusively exist in Korean subgenre crime movies by comparing and analyz-ing historical data twice in the first chapter. The second chapter analyzes the cultural mechanism which allows for the formation of that narrative mechanism. The third chapter takes Mother as an example and a text interpretation and analyzes how Korean movies construct that Asian narrative mechanism from specific point of views.
