It is a special group that the DongGong officials in the ancient China for education,counseling, defended the prince which will ensure the succession to the throne.TheDongGong officials consist of “Tai Zi Liu Fu”,“Zhan Shi Fu”,“Fang Ju Guan” andso on. Since the beginning of the Xia dynasty, the Shang dynasty, the Zhou dynasty,the DongGong officials have always appeared. After the Tang and Han dynasty, thebureaucratic has improved more perfect. It is when the Ming dynasty the bureaucracysystem of DongGong officials has developed further more.In1368, Zhu Yuanzhang established the Ming dynasty. In order to stabilize anddevelop dynasty, he canonized eldest son Zhu Biao as the prince and set up a series oftending institutions of the prince in the first of Hongwu. After analyzing the pros andcons of the DongGong official system in Tang and Song Yuan dynasty, then rulerscombined with the actual situation of Ming dynasty to set up its own DongGongOfficial System. The system consists of “Tai Zi Liu Fu”and “Zhan Shi Fu”.“Tai ZiLiu Fu” existed since ancient times and in the Ming Dynasty mainly in name, whichare used to meritorious minister or official of the promotion gifts.“Zhan Shi Fu” isthe leader of “Zhu Bu Ting” and “Fang Ju Guan”and responsible for the academiclearning, daily living of the prince. The virtual of DongGong Official System is thegeneral trend of the Ming Dynasty. It is leaded by Ting Chen and has the samefunctions as “Han Ling Guan”. The selection of the Ming DongGong officialsgenerally knowledgeable scholar, noble character or high prestige who are selectedthrough their recommendation, imperial examination, promotion gifts, the “En Yin”“Qin Chen” and so on. They once selected, personal career is different. Officialsduring the virtue of prince mostly be successful in one’s official career after the“Prince Jian Zuo”. But there are many officials imprisoned due to disagreement withthe emperor. In a word, the officials’ main responsibility is training the prince,adjusting between the emperor and the prince to ease the contradiction,reflected theevolution of the political order in the very great degree.
