| The level of diathesis of prince has a direct relation with the Country's development and sociopolitical stabilization for that he is the successor of kingship and can decide the Country's policy in the future. Therefore, the child care for prince is not only the regius housekeeping but also the affairs of state that count for much. All the rulers of past dynasties paid much attention to this problem so that all kinds of child care system for prince had been formed.The child care system for prince in Western Chou and the Spring and Autumn period is an important composer of noble politics system of the time. To research this question can help us a lot to comprehend the politics and community customs of that time. However, academia paid little attention to this question, only a few writings come down to certain aspects of it. Accordingly, this thesis mainly intend to solve two questions on the basis of previous production: the first is to research the historical facts on the child care system for prince in Western Chou and the Spring and Autumn period, to explore the politics on child care for prince, the reason they carried out these politics, the social realism they reflected, etc; the second is to explore the influence that the child care system for prince to social politics at that time and aftertime.This article is divided into four chapters:Chapter one is to research Western Chou's "GaoMei" sacrifice whose aim is to pray for child. All through the ages there have been many arguments on the origin of its name, the host of it, the locus and time of it and the specific ceremony etc. except for that it is an etiquette praying for child. This chapter is to analyze these questions one by one and try to make them clearer.Chapter two is to research the pre-produce child care system for prince in Western Chou and the Spring and Autumn period.
