The stage of middle school is very important to the teenagers. Manypsychological changes happen during this stage. These changes, whichhave high plasticity, mostly performance at their thinking,activepersonality. Hence the impact of imagination of teachers is huge. Theimage of teachers, including the role cognition and role expectation as aneducator and a professional group, as well as the professional valueorientation of teachers, is a stable expectation and general evaluation in aspecific historical period. On the basis of the literature analysis, interview,open questionnaire investigation and expert consultation, scaling the testof teachers’ imagination for middle school students in Guizhouprovince.The authors made an exploratory and confirmatory analysis andfound that: this scale includes six dimensions, such as the relationshipbetween teachers and students, management styles, teaching ability, thequality of teachers, teaching skills and teacher emotion, a total of40items. In order to identify the earnest before the formal measurement, wejoin three lie detection items, totally43items. This scale has betterreliability, validity and applicability.It can be used as an effectivemeasurement tool.The study used random sampling method, surveyed1500students of the several middle schools from different cities such as guiyang, bijie(including zhijin,weining,haozhang),liupanshui,and xingyi in guizhouprovince, and used The scaling of teachers’ imagination for middle schoolstudents in GuiZhou province as a tool for their investigation,Questionnaires are used in anonymous way, and statistic software ofSPSS16.0and Amos7.0to undertake statistical analysis. Mainly using Ttest, analysis of variance, and exploratory and confirmatory analysis. Theresults are as follows:1. On the basis of the literature analysis, interview, openquestionnaire investigation and expert consultation, scaling the test ofteachers’ imagination for middle school students in Guizhou province.With internal consistency coefficients, content validity and constructvalidity of the scale to test the reliability and validity, take Cronbachalpha coefficient as the homogeneity reliability test of the scale.the Totalscale’s alpha coefficient is0.964, each dimension’s alpha coefficientachieves more than0.6. It has good reliability. At the same time, thecorrelation between the total scale and each dimension is high, reaches0.723~0.910, has good validity.2. Through the study,we find that,On some factors of the scale,thedistance between the real imagination and the ideal imagination of middleschool teachers exists significant differences on gender,grade, residentcity,school type,academic record,ethnic group,and different region。 (1) The mean value of the total amount of teacher imaginationdifference is2.04, which indicates that the difference between realteacher imagination and ideal teacher imagination is small. Besides, themean value of the other dimensionalities orders by following: teachingskills>management styles>teacher emotion>the relationship betweenteacher and students>teaching ability>the quality of teachers.(2) There are significant differences between the male and female.The value of female’s expectation is higher than male’s in total value andeach dimension.(3) The difference among different grade is significant in alldimensionality: the grade three students in both junior school and highschool>the other four grades students in high school; the differenceamong grade two students in junior school, grade one students and gradetwo students in senior school is not significant.(4) The difference between urban students and rural students in alldimensionality is significantly, which indicates that students from countryhas more expectation in teacher imagination.(5) The difference between ordinary school students and key schoolstudents in all dimensionality is significant.(6)The difference among students with different performance issignificant in all dimensionality.(7) The difference between Han nationality students and Minority students in following dimensionality is significant while in otherdimensionality is not: the total amount; the relationship between teachersand students; management styles; teaching ability.(8) The difference among students in different region is significant inall dimensionality.
