In this report,《the Evolution of Minor Enterprises》 by Nakazawa Takao is elected asthe translation corpus. Through the translation practice, the switch of two languages isconsequent solved, many translation theory related problems are proposed, then the authorcatches up with corresponding solutions in macro level, combines previous experience andcase analysis, finally gets the beneficial outcome for cognitive translatology, as translationpractice has strong subjectivity. The key points of this practice are how translator overcomesuncertainties in subjectivity and how translator uses subjectivity to influence translationactivity in micro level. The article combines the translation process, case analysis and theoryfoundation, emphasis describes how cognitive translatology, especially compare andcorrespond theory, are used in translation. The proposal of these problems consolidate presentcognitive, also expand breadth and depth of translation practice study under cognitivetranslatologyIn the introduction, the author briefly introduces choose of corpus, the possiblesubjectivity and preparation of computer as an aid tool. The first chapter analyzes the natureand characteristic of this corpus. The second chapter gives a detailed description of thetranslation procedure, which covers the preparations, the process and other issues. The thirdchapter analyses some problems from the translation, then bring up with the correspondingstrategies and skills under the guidance of translation theories. At last, beneficial outcomes aregiven., as cognitive translatology and second language acquisition can both benefit each otherand which also has theoretical and practical significance.
