Ethical Dilemma And Its Construction Of Our Country’s Hospice Care

Hospice care is the important symbol of social civilization progress. It is an ethics,medicine, psychology, sociology, religion, political science and othermulti-disciplinary, much new in the field of theory and practice. With thedevelopment of society and the progress of civilization in China, the improvement ofliving standards, people’s pursuit of life and value are also rising. But, An agingpopulation and the lag in the development of medical and health cause and the changeof human disease spectrum, urgent need for the development of hospice care.Development of hospice care, can promote the development of social andhumanitarian, improve people’s life and dignity, truly people-oriented; Can makemodern people to changing attitudes of life and death, can help people to set up thecorrect life values; Development of hospice programs and conforms to China’snational conditions and the interests of the masses, can better embody the party andthe government of the people’s concern and care for, embodies the superiority of thesocialist system. At present, the development of hospice care in our country by thelevel of economic development in our country, the traditional ethical value, thespecification of the social system and cultural customs and habits of restricted andbondage, at the same time there are also running mode, policy, capital, ideas on finemultiple problems, development of hospice career is not true in China.Therefore, to strengthen theoretical study and practical guidance hospice canprovide a theoretical basis for the development of hospice career.The first part introduces the theory of hospice. Hospice originated in the West, tothe1970s, with the rapid development of the eighties. Our hospice is still in itsinfancy. As a hospice care has its own characteristics different from the generalmedical care, and its psychological and social characteristics of the more obvious.Hospice embodies the ethical principles of humanitarian, comprehensive care and thevalue of life.The second part of this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the currenthospice practice. Our hospice has not yet formed a reasonable model, hospice rejectmedical treatment still exist, lack of organization, employing quality is not high, thetransition ineffective treatment of serious issues such as ethical reflection about theethical principles of fairness, values, morals, etc. and specific case studies, hospice,there are still traditional conception of death and the ethics of modern life, the right toinformation and privacy rights, prolong the survival time of conflict and improve quality of life, social norms, etc..The third part of this paper is to analyze the hospice ethical construction.Including ethical philosophy and path selection. Hospice ethical philosophy is qualityof life and the value of life. Ethical path to establish hospice care options includeethical philosophy, concept of death strengthen education, promote humane care;create a new family ethics, hospice care to create a good atmosphere; deepeningmedical reform, improving the social and ethical environment; build universal ethical,moral avoid conflicts with the law and so on.
