Yue Fei(1103-1142),an ordinary farmer from Tang Yin,He Nan province,who is the most famous Genral of the Song dynasty,have been regardedas a nation hero of our Chinese.In March,1033,the3rd year of the Reigntitle Shaoxing,he was sent to Gan Nan,the south of Jiang Xi province,towipe out armed rebellion of there,which named Qian Kou.However,due tothe lack of historical data,when they mention this history, later generationalways cite XingShiBianNian of Yue Ke,who was the grandson of Yue Fei.Merely,according to Yue Fei`s memorial to throne,there are many corruptions in XingShiBianNian.So this article attempt to restore the process of thecounterinsurgency.In addition,many historians prefer to define this events as suppressionof peasant uprising,rather than counterinsurgency.This article will clarify thedevelopment of Gan Nan,by searching local literature.Surounded by the special geographical and culture environment,the people in Gan Nan were always involved in therebelion,which causing great damage to local.So It was really a counter-insurgency operation.
